Why an Authorized SoundCloud Link May Not Process
This public workflow intentionally checks the creator's official download setting before it processes a track. A failure can mean the track is private, preview-only, blocked, geo-restricted, not marked downloadable by its creator, or that the official verification service is temporarily unavailable.
Use This Checklist
- Confirm that the URL is one public track, not a profile, playlist, album, or shortened link.
- Open the original SoundCloud page and look for the creator's Download option.
- Confirm that you have the right to keep or use the file.
- Retry only if the official download option is present and the service reports a temporary error.
Choose a Supported Output
The public workflow offers MP3 and WAV only. FLAC and M4A are guides on this site, not generated output. A higher requested bitrate cannot improve the original upload.
Do Not Work Around Restrictions
If the track is not downloadable, contact the creator or use another authorized source. The site does not process playlists, batches, private URLs, or creator-disabled tracks.
Your Own Audio File
For a file you already own, use the homepage's local WAV exporter. It runs in your browser and does not upload the audio to this site.
